Nuru Massage 101

If you have never had a nuru massage before, you really do not know what you are missing. A nuru massage is a body to body massage London which was originally invented by the Japanese and involves you as the receiver lying naked on a bed or massage table and being covered in a special type of oil. This is nuru oil and is made from a specific type of seaweed found in Japan, the word “nuru” being the Japanese for “smooth” or “slippery”. You need to be as relaxed as possible before going for a nuru massage and you also need to be clean. If you are visiting a massage centre, they will have a shower area where you can take a shower beforehand, but it is better to have a shower before your visit so that you arrive clean and fresh. 

While there is no particular rule about body hair, if you do have excessive amounts of body hair you would be wise to shave it off. You may also want to shave your intimate area before the session. 

You need to be mentally prepared for a nuru massage. There is absolutely no doubt that it is a very steamy process and something that you want to lie back and enjoy. However, you don’t want to just lie there like a piece of meat, so you should be prepared to enter into the spirit of the occasion. Whether your nuru massage finishes with a happy ending will be up to you and your masseuse. Anything that takes place during the course of the session is regarded as agreement between two consenting adults. 

While many such massages take place at a massage centre, there may be occasions where you would like a masseuse to visit you at your hotel. If this is the case, you need to ensure that you have some low lighting and possibly some candles. Soothing music can also add considerably to the pleasure.
